Crafting technical implementation finished

Hi there,

i am glad to announce that i finished the technical part of crafting. So what is left we still need some screendesign work and the whole content (recipes,item,etc.), but we will create some dummy recipes and graphics. After that we will shortly release it to beta servers to test it and get your opinions. Some information about crafting you are able to have crafting crit proccs which allows you to create 2 items instead of one. The recipes have three different colors for their difficult at the moment there are grey recipes for no difficult (you will never get a skill point), green recipes for an easy difficult your chance to get a skillpoint is very low and we have the orange recipes which are the most difficult recipes here you will have a good chance to earn a skillpoint. Another further feature is facebook connect (already activated on beta) you will be able to publish your crafting reports over facebook. And last but not least there will be a few more statistics for crafting.

    Probably with orange recipes you can craft valuable things…

    But th eskill points you are talking about are normal ones (to put in shooting, tactics, swimming and else) or skill points towards crafting?

    If the andwer is the second what use do they have? To increase the value of crafts? To increase the percentage to be able to craft?

    maybe it’s a bad example cause you had nothing better on hand, but why on earth would you craft a broken clayjug? πŸ˜€
    an intact one would make more sense πŸ˜‰

    @Darfen Skillpoints will be skillpoints for your profession, if you have more of them you are able to craft better recipes and expensive things etc.

    skillpoint can find any jobs ? or only high luck jobs ?
    high luck jobs will have more chance for gain skillpoints ?! or its same for all jobs ?

    It’s just in crafting jobs so you can’t find skillpoints in jobs you can already do now.
    Harder is the crafting higher is the percentage of gaining a skill pont in your profession (blacksmith, tailor or something like that)

    Hey Rainy, great job, finish the mechanics in few days…

    I’ve done a brain storm on previous Post like:

    I would like to make CLEAR that i’m just doing a BRAIN STORM.

    1 – Tailor
    – Create old items and uniques/recipie items
    – Transform Animal Leather into workable leather, like Light, Medium and Heavy Leather
    – Using Cotton, Roll of Cloth, Wool to create components and other products to do Inks

    2 – Cooking
    – Consumable items as Drinks and Foods using – Exilir, Flour, Fruits, Vegetables and Meats.

    3 – BlackSmith
    – Uses Iron, Sledge Hammer, Copper Wire, Wood, Saw and others to do Meele Weapon.
    – Upgrade Rusty and Normal Weapons
    – Create unique items by recipies.
    – On high levels can disassemble items to get products.

    4 – Gunsmith
    – Uses Iron, Silver, Hammer, Copper Wire, Wood, Wood Plain, Coal, Ammo, and other to do Range Weapon.
    – Upgrade Rusty and Normal Weapons
    – Create unique items by recipies.
    – On high levels can disassemble items to get products.

    5 – Tinker/Jewcraft
    – Uses Silver, Gold Dusty, Semi Precious Stones, Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, Feathers, Lead, Tooths, to create neacklaces and Equipable Produtcs

    6 – Trainer
    – Upgrades old horses to be fast or give skill or habilities.
    – Breeds species to do faster unique kinds.
    – Uses Seeds, Hay, Salt, and other Foods to breed animal
    or
    – Do the same to companions (Birds, Dogs if WestWars system comes here)

    7 – Explorer
    – Uses maps, documents and others to find chests with items, relics and products that are used by the professions above.
    – Explores Caves, Dens, Grooves that appear on random locations with the right map/documents equiped.

    *****I just dont have any fast ideas ’bout what to do with Fort Weapons, as it should be unfair to Blacksmith if it stays with the Gunsmith.

    But as i said, its just a brain storm.

    rainy, I don’t use facebook and I refuse to use it. So forgive me for suspicious looks on the facebook connection. πŸ˜‰

    However, the crafting thing, at least the info about it looks very promising. I just hope recipes won’t be unbelievably rare dropitems like the bear.

    The available jobs will be “Saddler”, “Blacksmith”, “Fieldcook” and “Quack Doctor”. All of them will offer items with unique effects.

    Dear Devs,
    The single biggest problem with the game right now is the stack bonus on the Golden Gun.
    While a few people love them to no end the vast majority of players desperately want it gone.
    The sick part of all this is that a lot of people are stuck without the gun and they can’t participate in battles longer then the first 2 rounds without exaggerating.
    Opening the gun to all is also not an option due to the fact that all players under level 75 simply can’t fight.
    Many people are even going as far as to leave the game due to the Gun and almost everybody wants that dumb stacking bonus off.
    We understand Inno Wants all that money that they get off of people paying to get the Gun,but we’re not asking to have the gun removed,we’re asking to have the bonus off.
    Please try to understand,

    if anybody want leave game because of golden gun , can do this very fast
    golden gun and it bonus are part of game … the matter of fort battle are take fort or defend fort , then both side have same chance for have golden gun and use bonus

    please try to understand …

    The Golden Gun is awesome. I do not posses it yet, but I will.
    As for the matter of who enters a fort battle it’s not about what your equipment is, it’s about whether you listen or do not listen to the orders that are given to you.

    The Fieldcook is done and will go into internal testing. The three other professions will follow this week.

    The issue with the golden gun is known and will be dealt with soon.
