Here is a screenshot of the new inventory arrangement and the trousers. You can also see that there is now a filter (hats are currently active) and that we got rid of the stacks for items. You can stack now items limitless (well, up to 2147483647 times as you still can see). So the inventory is easier to use now and old inventories are downsized to a reasonable number of items.
But there’s also more! If you thought that 1.29 was big, 1.30 will exceed your expectations! There are lots of big and small improvements and new features. More than 100 Items are added to the game and you can reach out to level 120 now. Duels are also improved with a search for near players, so it’s easier to find targets now!
If all goes well, 1.30 is going to be released within the next month – there is still a lot of testing involved with all these changes, but it shouldn’t take too long anymore till it goes live! If I say that I am looking forward for this release, I do not only say that as a developer of The-West, but even more as a player! 1.30 is going to be the last big step forward in 2010. And the best: Even 1.29 is still holding a new surprise feature that is going to be revealed soon!
And of course, it doesn’t end here – 2011 will be the time of more major changes so that within the next 6 months, The-West is going to become much better and a lot more long time motivating than ever.
the new log in page looks great, but i still think you should make the whole thing a bit more user friendly.
and the schwarze knickerbocker look terrible.
but never the less its game play and not graphics ,, its play ability and fun that gain the experience rather then glossy graphics

I eagerly await the duel finder, been waiting for that for a loooong time.
I like the pants and all,but I think the shoes should still be on the bottom.

Great improvement, i didn’t quite understand the downsized of old inventories…
Don’t forget some things that are not yet defined in the game, such as the talisman and the stone chain.
And please open the old worlds again.People leave the game, and others want to play in worlds that are already closed.Open them again please so that we can get more competition.

@Billy Blue: The inventory stacks – right now, you can stack guns and other stuff only to 1 or 20 items. So if you have 5 slingshots, you have 5 pictures of the same slingshot in your inventory. We have removed now the stack limits, so in 1.30, you’ll have only a single slingshot picture with a counter which states that you have “5” of them.

Very nice the items in the inventory divided by the type of cloth! If you have huge inventories (as i have XD) it’ll be fantastic!
What’s the white-blue orb under the horse in the new inventory page? It’s a new product or a completely new kind of object?

The shoes is under the pop up for the “knickerboczker”.
But I think, there something new to. The shoes (i think), dont go up, under the fort battle guns. There are an other places where are something, something that I think is the place of the belt’s 😮 😀
Maybe surpize its BELTs?Cuz they are in westwars ameybe they give us belts too 🙂

I have been mulling over the thought about trousers, I would however keep footwear.
I think the new login screen is cool and is pretty good art, I prefer the old one.
Is there another new Item-Class? Looks like 2 boxes are hidden under the “Schwarze knickerbocker”-Popup^^

Well it’s 2011 and the new version still haven’t found it’s way to the other worlds (except beta).
When do you plan to upgrade the other worlds??
And what about the Christmas Sled? Will it come whit the new version or do we haft to wait until the next Christmas??
