steps toward 1.22, lets spread some rewards

I can proudly present you some new series of pictures from the 1.22 release 🙂 We will add some new game features like the chat (already pre-announced in the last post). Here is a new picture of the current UI. There are different channels where you can talk to. And the best: we will have some emotions and maybe smiles too (of course deactivateble).

And now, behold, the holy reward box is coming to YOUR profile 😀 We will have rewards in the future that will be spread when you reach some predefined (of course secret and hidden) statistic properties. Each player has a reward box integrated into the character screen where you can select max four rewards that will be exposed in the player profile. But it is possible to look into the reward box of a player, so its only some kind of pre-selection 😉

Will be very funny when you start to think about some foreign reward how cool they are and favorable how the hell to get that 😀

    what about the fort battle channel?

    and is there any news about the individual fortbattle-maps (wall-,gate- and towerlevel) or the trader?

    Sweet! The features just get better and better. I’d like to personally thank you guys for implementing the toughness/reflex fix. This chat was very needed, you’ll se a whole lot more of activity.

    I wonder what the ETA is on 1.22, I can’t wait to be there. Keep up the good fight!

    we are hardly working on the features and the fort battle channel is the most important one. I’m really guessing that it will make its way into 1.22, but currently we are hardly working on it. The screens just show the current development state.
    Fort battle enhancements like the dynamic maps and traders will definitively not be released with 1.22 and are planed for future releases.

    when comes the 1.22 to other worlds? few days,weeks, months? i must rearrange my points because the toughness/reflex fix, also the best clothes and jobs will be others, we need money and time, and to know it before …

    Thanks for the quick reply. I thought that this was some kind of final feature list for 1.22 (at least for as far as you can tell before any beta testing). But great to hear that you are working on the fort battle channel. I Asked about the dynamic maps because of multiple speculations of Zet to 1.22.

    The chat and custom fort battle maps were both features that I really badly want to implement and I am also the one responsible for both. At first it seemed like custom maps would be the 1.22 feature and the chat would follow soon afterwards. But it was exchanged because of demands. Personally I think that both features are equally important. Both influence the fortbattles severly – although the chat will change the whole game altogether.

    Hi man, i like this idea, but what evereybody want to know is that, what are you going to doy with duels?, man don’t change the duels, be a good dueler costed me a lot of; premium, work, hours being with the calculator. xDD
    So all that force to change how duels work would let me to leave the game.

    Great… I like the reward (i got my selfsome “unoffical badges”, lol, first to get all male set gear, all buyable male itens from Shop and Tailor, heheheheh)…

    But i NEEEEED to know… Will be any new item or job ?! Or even, will be possible to get the “hidden” fancy weapon !?

    @frozeNwings: I am sorry to say that, but you’ll need to adapt. The-West is a changing game. Features are added, old features are reworked. The duelling system needed a rework because we regard the current issue with it (being able to lower the hit chance to 0%) as a bug and quite a few players share this opinion. It is admirable that some people found this “bug”, despite the fact that the algorithm is not publicly known. I am sad to hear that some changes are making players quit, but change is unavoidable, even in games.

    zet: there’s no bug on it, look some workers can win me, with some dodge, tactics and presence you win easily.
    I don’t know why, so this, when the al­go­rithm is done, make the maximum damage to 1% if it was 0%…
    And another thing, now that i’m deleting my account I’ll ask you something that always wanted to know if it’s a bug…
    In the help, it says that not dodge, doubles your aim, is it implemented ? please check the al­go­rithm because I was months trying that and I didn’t notice the difference. Everybody says that you forgot to add the x2 xDDD.

    Goodbye 4ever.

    another idea: One time to respec abilities free, so everybody could change their points. (that’s the only reasonable solution i found).

    It’s so funny. Many players threaten to quit the game just because the developer tries to make the game better and more balanced.
    I don’t worry for the players that quit. I think there are more player beginning the game than there are players quitting.
    In the long term this is the best thing to do.

    And sorry for double post, I add you anotehr problem, the clothes, people who bought resistance clothes, want their money back, and not the half xD… If you want, I can leave my mail here, and help you I was a mod for softnyx (Rakion latino) for 1 year…

    we need this duel change, bcuz duelers with dodging cant win against resistence duelers… they hit 8/8 with 1-3 dmg and for high resistence player 1 hit enough to win… but 50% is too much i think, or increase our health points too

    no man, you don’t know anything about duels, you only have to put points in dodge aim and shooting, that playuer really rocks, can beat any duel class.

    hehe 😀 i saw maybe 2 or 3 shooters who has dodge, high lvl players dont waste point on dodging bcuz they prefer jobs… and with a malee dueler i can KO them in 1 duel 🙂
    so i dont think that too many ppl gonna put on dodge to lose their jobs… maybe pure duelers only

    All very cool, keep up the good work. The report button on the character button looks a bit small compared to the other buttons though.
