Another Thing i started with is Crafting
I wish i could show you something about that, but i am still doing Backend Stuff for Crafting and there is not many i can show. The concept is still not really final for the whole Crafting thing, but there will be some professions and you could choose one of them, when your character reaches level 20. After that you are able to craft some components. You will need them later to craft real useful items. For every crafted item or component you may get a skill point for your profession, for now we thought about a max skill of 150 still not clearly. To craft items or components you will need to learn recipes. Recipes will be dropped in jobs and you will be able to buy them at the player trader or in a town shop.
I love this one!
I like the HP and Energy bar on top better,and the avatar placing is better to.
Crafting is a great feature to the game. It should be intrigate if the recipies and schematics for crafting come in different colours to “show” their rarity.
Or if would be possible to craft items that cant be droped even on Fort Battle Loot.
Professions is a feature that should be puted as complement to craft, and not only gunsmith, blacksmith, leatherwork, but
Treasure Hunter – to find old recipies or rare componentes – ,
Archologist – that could boosts drops. With caves and dens to explore.
Horse Breader – merging species to create new kind of horses and some old horses that could gain new speed or even bonuses.
Or… Well… Just doing a brainstorm…. Sorry… lol

I like this one more than the other, fits more in the west.
But where is now the amount of $$$ and nuggets that were on the 1st preview? And I wanted the mini-map of the first too π

dont like the whole camelion idea of my eyes having to stain both ways at that tool bar at the top.
just started getting used to the old one, that way you could have lots of them all piled on top of one another for various reasons.
easier to read and look at when they are placed in a row on top each other, they can be measured up, your eyes make one movement,, down the list.
ps, thanx for the newspaper development, it was manofwars idea not mine π

maybe you should remove the stripes in the exp bar or only put 10 on it and it also looks like this bar is hidden under the icon not sure

You removed energy refill icon in this variation though… Does that mean that option will vanish from all worlds?

It’s just a draft/preview it’s not finished that’s why hte refill icon is missing and themoney and bank money are missing, even tho they are in the first one.
I know it’s just a sketch, but you simply can’t stop ppl hoping. π

Its strange that @rainy write about profession/craft and everybody are only talking about graphics update. O.o
Its sad when people looks more to the skin and less to the content. Not that i’m dont wanna see new graphics, and the sketchs are really great, but hey, they are talking about CRAFT too… ¬¬’

Will it be possible to make totally new items or will it just be another way of making the current items.

Thats my point. I believe that the game we should have some profession. I would like to make CLEAR that i’m just doing a BRAIN STORM.
1 – Tailor
– Create old items and uniques/recipie items
– Transform Animal Leather into workable leather, like Light, Medium and Heavy Leather
– Using Cotton, Roll of Cloth, Wool to create components and other products to do Inks
2 – Cooking
– Consumable items as Drinks and Foods using – Exilir, Flour, Fruits, Vegetables and Meats.
3 – BlackSmith
– Uses Iron, Sledge Hammer, Copper Wire, Wood, Saw and others to do Meele Weapon.
– Upgrade Rusty and Normal Weapons
– Create unique items by recipies.
– On high levels can disassemble items to get products.
4 – Gunsmith
– Uses Iron, Silver, Hammer, Copper Wire, Wood, Wood Plain, Coal, Ammo, and other to do Range Weapon.
– Upgrade Rusty and Normal Weapons
– Create unique items by recipies.
– On high levels can disassemble items to get products.
5 – Tinker/Jewcraft
– Uses Silver, Gold Dusty, Semi Precious Stones, Diamond, Emerald, Ruby, Feathers, Lead, Tooths, to create neacklaces and Equipable Produtcs
6 – Trainer
– Upgrades old horses to be fast or give skill or habilities.
– Breeds species to do faster unique kinds.
– Uses Seeds, Hay, Salt, and other Foods to breed animal
or
– Do the same to companions (Birds, Dogs if WestWars system comes here)
7 – Explorer
– Uses maps, documents and others to find chests with items, relics and products that are used by the professions above.
– Explores Caves, Dens, Grooves that appear on random locations with the right map/documents equiped.
*****I just dont have any fast ideas ’bout what to do with Fort Weapons, as it should be unfair to Blacksmith if it stays with the Gunsmith.
But as i said, its just a brain storm.
Crafting looks as a delicate and controversial issue and by rainy’s description you will have to choose between professions. Looks too much like current classes system, once you choose a class, you’re doomed to it till the end of the world, and I bet many players are now not happy for not choosing dueler class before those new nice bonuses came. π
Yes, but this could be fixed if you could reset your Profession Skills, if you want to change Profession you “START FROM ZERO” the other and forget EVERYTHING you learn on the previous one.
Now that’s something that would be awsome!
I think they*re changing classes to professions and many more avatars will be available.

hey !
there is no mention of fort damage anywhere in this road map of yours.
when i attack a nice pretty pearly fort, thats been all scrubbed up and shiny, i want to do some damage.
the after battle i would like to look at the fort and see what random damage has been done to the picture.
even if we lose the battle i would like to have some sort of satisfaction knowing i made a real mess of their fort.
some random visual damage to the forts please π

It looks great, but I have an issue with the timed quests, I mean the ones you have been at a certain place between certain times, did you not think about the southern part of the world, when your 4pm or 6 pm is in fact 4am or 6 am southern world time, maybe something could be done with this, it could be as simple as allowing both being at a specific place at with 4pm or 4am server time, otherwise I cant get past these quests and in the end may just give up with the west and spend my money on some other game….any way my thoughts anyway…..
